Malala continues to fight for the right to an education for women and survived being shot in the head by the Taliban in October 2012.

The outing comes after she attended the Global Citizen Festival in New York City on Saturday night, alongside Beyonce who performed and First Lady Michelle Obama.

Meanwhile, David has also been supporting his wife, Victoria Beckham, while out in America, sharing a picture of her raising awareness about HIV and Aids at the UN.

The supportive husband wrote: ‘Proud of my wife today speaking at the UN Head quarters.

‘Powerful speech along with some other incredible and powerful women on that stage … Right to the point about Our fight against HIV / AIDS @unitednations @unicef @victoriabeckham.’

David is set to delight his fans once again when he is thought to be returning to the Pride Of Britain awards, held in London on Monday night.

The father-of-four is said to be flying home especially for the event which will be hosted by Carol Vorderman once again.

David has been using his time in New York to do good and the former athlete choked up on Thursday whilst talking about a four-year-old girl who died during the 2013 Philippines typhoon during a meeting with the UN.

The ex-England footballer had to steady himself as he told the story of little Viana who was swept out of her father’s arms and drowned.

Beckham cleared his throat and admitted that it ‘really affected me’ and said: ‘That story will never leave me’.
